KIRILL YERETSKY | CREATIVE DIRECTOR, CO-FOUNDER

Kirill Yeretsky is a Ukrainian-born visual artist and director based in New York, with over 20 years of experience directing and producing 3D and 2D animated productions across film, television, documentaries, and advertising. His work spans a wide range of design styles and animation techniques, honed through hands-on roles in nearly every area of the production process. Kirill served as the Episodic Director, Creative Director, and Executive Producer of the award-winning animated show “Ada”. At Paramount CBS, he worked as Co-Director and Art Director on the feature film “Washingtonia” for Comedy Central and as Art Director for Stephen Colbert’s satirical series “Our Cartoon President” for Showtime. His creative direction experience also includes roles at R/GA, Jon Stewart’s HBO project, and Should We Studio. Kirill has directed animated sequences featured in acclaimed documentaries such as “With Drawn Arms”, “The Bit Player”, Frank Oz’s “In & Of Itself”, and most recently, Glenn Kaino’s “Hoops, Hopes & Dreams”. 

GERTA XHELO | CREATIVE PRODUCER, CO-FOUNDER

Gerta Xhelo has dedicated her 15+ year career to recruiting independent filmmakers and producing meaningful stories across platforms, styles, and genres, giving artists around the world opportunity, exposure, and creative freedom in service of a larger message. Gerta is the current Director of Production at TED-Ed. Since joining in 2013, she has had the immense pleasure of co-curating and overseeing the visual and editorial production of 1,600+ animated short films that collectively boast over 5.6 billion lifetime views. These films have been featured in dozens of prestigious animation festivals, including Annecy, Animafest Zagreb, Anima Mundi, and ASIFA, and have garnered multiple awards, including the Annecy Crystal in 2018 for Accents, a piece from a poetry series she developed for TED-Ed, and the Jury Award at Annecy in 2024 for a film on South African Apartheid. She also led the localization of TED-Ed’s content into 10 languages, expanding the platform’s accessibility and global reach. Prior to TED-Ed, Gerta recruited and developed talent for The Mill, a global leader in visual effects. She has also taught as a professor at the School of Visual Arts and Pratt Institute, where she guided young artists in career strategies and professional development.
