KIRILL YERETSKY | CREATIVE DIRECTOR, CO-FOUNDER

Kirill has been working as a Director for 3D and 2D animated content in a variety of visual styles for film, TV, and advertising industries for over nineteen years. Before TomatoBeach, Kirill worked at R/GA, a leading Advertising Agency, as an Executive Creative Director in the Content Studio, where he directed and supervised a wide range of animated and live-action content. In his eleven years with the agency, he played a key role in developing and running the animation studio, which serviced the agency’s global clients  like Nike, Samsung, and Verizon. Kirill previously held the Creative Director position and directed animated shows Jon Stewart’s HBO project and Should We Studio. At CBS, he served as a Co-Directed and Art Director on the animated feature film “Washingtonia” and the Art Director on Stephen Colbert’s satirical series “Our Cartoon President,” overseeing character, prop, and environment design for all three seasons. He has also directed animated sequences for award-winning documentaries.

GERTA XHELO | CREATIVE PRODUCER, CO-FOUNDER

Gerta Xhelo has dedicated her 15+ year career to recruiting independent filmmakers and producing meaningful stories across platforms, styles, and genres, giving artists around the world opportunity, exposure, and creative freedom in service of a larger message. Gerta is the current Director of Production at TED-Ed. Since joining in 2013, she has had the immense pleasure of co-curating and overseeing the visual and editorial production of 1000+ animated short films which have reached over 1.5 billion views worldwide and have been featured in dozens of animation festivals, including Annecy, Animafest Zagreb, Anima Mundi, ASIFA, etc. Prior to TED-Ed, she recruited and developed talent for The Mill, a global leader in visual effects. She is also a professor at The School of Visual Arts and Pratt University where she teaches young artists career strategies.
